This past week I was visiting my hometown and had the opportunity to shoot Amber’s Senior Portraits! Amber has been a long time family friend, so I had a lot of fun visiting with her and her family during our evening!

Family Friday – Playdates!

This week has been full of play-dates for my Toddler! (Who is almost 2!) It’s been a great week for both her, and myself. (Although she won’t even think about looking at the camera. Not even for bribes.)

Family Friday – Pixie Dust

I love being the mom of a 2 year old. I love it more than anything else in the world. The two year old imagination is such an amazing thing.
With this dress, she WAS a pixie, and nothing was stopping her! She sprinkled her pixie dust all over the park, giving the flowers some extra love so they would grow. And after all was said and done? We went to grab a cookie at our favorite bakery!

Counting Down – Family Friday

I’ve decided, in an attempt to rejuvenate my Blog and keep me posting regularly that I would start posting “Family Friday’s” every Friday! A quick entry with photos of my family!
As you may know, my husband is a truck driver, so he’s gone quite a bit. This go-round he’s been gone for six weeks, so we’re counting the days (3) until he’s home! He’ll get here Monday evening and be home for 6 days! So I dug out some photos from the last time he was home, at the end of March!

Spring Cleaning – New Website! (And a giveaway!)

It’s officially Spring, and time for a good Spring Cleaning! Not only is my house getting the complete detail cleaning, so is my website!
I’ve decided (after much debate) to combine my blog with my website, and this is the final result!
I’d like to give a special Thank You to Katy Kinard for letting me use her beautiful music on my site! (The song for the main pages is “Worlds Largest Peanut” from her album “Headed Back“. Be sure to check out her website, and give her music a listen!

I had the opportunity to spend the afternoon with my younger sister and her best friend while I was visiting my hometown for Thanksgiving. The girls were kind enough to let me stalk them with my camera for a practice shoot! We had a little bit too much fun this afternoon!
